Ces derniers jours, Katy Perry a surpris tout le monde et particulièrement ses fans en répondant à des tweets. Surprenant, oui, car la chanteuse avait perdu l’habitude d’utiliser ses réseaux sociaux de cette manière après avoir subi des torrents de haine, notamment depuis 2017. L’une de ses réponses confirme ce revirement de situation :
i’m feeling safer to be more myself again. (je me suis plus en sécurité pour être à nouveau moi-même.)
De quoi rassurer ses fans, mais aussi les électriser puisque les messages ont afflué et Katy Perry s’est fait un plaisir de répondre à certains, teasant parfois son prochain single ou encore les prochains festivals. Elle a même pris le temps de discuter plus longuement avec des fans sur des sujets parfois plus personnels 💖

I watched DD collect Easter eggs and was so proud of her when someone dropped their basket of eggs and she stopped and helped them pick them up… at first I was like girl… don’t you dare take those and then I saw she was helping and my heart just melted.

Also, something a therapist told me that changed my life, “no one can make u believe something about yourself that you don’t already believe about yourself” if that noise triggers you, dive into that trigger, that’s where the treasure is.
Y’all are so important. This community is so important. We have grown so much over the years and so many friendships have formed because of you guys and I’m so excited that I get to go back out there and celebrate with you and we all get to meet up sometimes.

I love both the cats and the rats. I do hope in the future fandoms unite more instead of adding to the division. If you are a real fan of me try and choose the high road. Trust me, it is not always easy but we must lead by example especially with the younger, newer fandoms.
